We are looking to find an experienced rider / groom to join a satellite farm in Suffolk as part of a small busy team, the main company having a reputation as one of the most prestigious Thoroughbred breeding and racing operations in the world.
The Successful candidate would be able to help look after, tack up, exercise and ride some of the 18 horses who all live out. Experience in operating farm machinery such as quads, walking machines, treadmills would be helpful. Competing is an option as there is a mix of privately owned dressage, jumping and show horses.

During the summer months the family relocate to Surrey where the duties would be similar except the job would include helping with pony rides and lessons for beginners. The position comes with excellent remuneration package based on a 40 hour week. It is a live in position with a modern 3 bedroom house on site.

We are looking for an experienced Gardener / Caretaker to look after and manage 40 acres of wonderful parkland and formal gardens.
This is a 40 hour week (Monday-Friday).
You will need to be able to drive a tractor mower and large ride on mower.
This property has 4 acres of formal gardens so the applicant must be capable of keeping them looking there best all year round as well as keeping on top of the remaining 36 acres of parkland.
You will also be required to mend fencing, chop trees down, let people in and out of the property, cut hedges; strim and arrange for things to be fixed/replaced if they appear broken, so you must be hands on, assertive and “handy”.
We need someone who is extremely trustworthy and loyal, someone who is capable of managing their own time and happy to liaise with contractors, local farmers when bigger jobs are required.

We are looking for 4 reliable, confident and competent riders, who are happy exercising Arab Endurance horses keeping them fit throughout the summer. Full Time experienced Secretary required for private household within large country Estate located approx 20 minutes from Newmarket.

Basic duties to include:-

Acting as a first point of contact for the private office: dealing with correspondence and phone calls
Managing the principles diary and organising meetings and appointments
Providing admin support to the house staff
Event organisation
Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation
Reminding the principle of important tasks and deadlines
Typing, compiling and preparing schedules and correspondence
Managing databases and filing systems
Ensuring that health and safety policies are up to date
Liaising with staff, suppliers, contractors, family members and guests
Collating and filing expenses

Full Time, experienced Head Gardener with Level 3 Horticultural Qualifications required for large country Estate in Wells -next-the-Sea, Norfolk,
This is a fabulous opportunity for someone who would genuinely love to work in a stunning environment covering some 25,000 acres including Park Land, Farm land ( arable and vegetable), woodland and formal gardens.

The ideal person will be responsible for all activity undertaken by the gardens team in the Park and across the wider Estate. Excellent communication and organisational skills essential to manage the team of 8 staff and 60 volunteers. The ability to support, advise and train staff members will be required. The ability to liaise and support other departments within the Estate as required with weddings,events,education,conservation shoots and tours.Confidence with the public essential to engage with local community and visitors enabling good educational relationships to continue. Occasional tours and talks.

The presentation, maintenance and conversation of the Estate Grounds and Grade 1 listed park are key to the role, in particular the Hall terraces, the Arboretum and the Walled Garden.

Overseeing the vegetable and cut flower growing for use on the Estate.

Use and upkeep of large garden machinery also part of this role.

The successful person must understand budgets and have a proven track record of delivering projects on time and to budget.
This is a mixed role with some hands on working and the Head Gardener will be highly visible and active with a good level of fitness.
A keen eye for detail, an appreciation of quality and a willingness to lead from the front. The ability to work calmly when under pressure is essential.
