Part Time experienced Groom/Rider required for private yard located approx 15 minutes from Bury St Edmunds. 5 mornings per week approx 20 hours total
The ideal person will be fairly flexible and be able to cover at least one of the weekend days during competition season ( March to October)
It would be an advantage if the successful person could drive either a 7.5T or a 3.5T lorry to events to help the family.
There are 7 horses on site with 4 in work ( 3 are event horses).
The position would include the following:
- All yard work to a high standard
- turning horses out and bringing in from the field
- rug changing and washing off
- hays and waters
- exercising the horses ( hacking with some cantering if possible)
- Clipping and plaiting would be great too.

We are looking for TWO really friendly, approachable, well presented and proactive people to work on a luxury clothing stand at this year’s Cheltenham Festival.
Retail experience is not essential.
Requirements & Package:
• Thursday- Sunday, 10am-6pm, (Sunday will involve packing down so the hours will be a little longer)
• Accommodation Provided
• Food and drink supplied when working on the stand
• Transport from Bury St Edmunds to Cheltenham Racecourse can be arranged for those local to the show room.

You will be required to:
• Serve and look after all customers to a really high standard
• Help them with their shopping experience, making sure they have the right sizes etc
• Take payments (card and cash)
• Help with the set up and packing down of the stand
• Keep the stand looking immaculate at all times

We ideally need someone that has competed up to BE Novice level, someone that knows how eventing works and someone that is keen to join a successful, up and coming team with top quality horses.
